Week 7 Thing 18 Tagxedo

Here is the Tagxedo I made using URL for Tech Junkie Blog.  Lots of fun making the words into a shape.  I love the example of the shirts made with a tagxedo of the Space Shuttle.  May have to buy one! :)  I could see the students using this to make a vocabulary review for a unit of study!   Neat

Week 5 Thing 12 Google Docs, Reader, & Searches

I have found this activity to be the most rewarding. I used Google Docs, Googie Search, and Google Custom Search to find information on Technology Grants. I see this tool as a most useful to filter down to exact searches which will save time. It is interesting that Google Custom Search will allow users to create a customized google search on their own website which will save time! This is a tool I will continue to use for my classroom :)

Week 5 Thing 11: I agree with Christine.....Google Docs will be a great way to share information during collaboration instead of using flash drives or saving it to our school computers. I wish I knew about this last year when I was forever running to find my flash drive. What a wonderful tool to implement a better PLC! :)

Week 4 Thing 10 Voice Thread

Week 4 Thing 10: Have really enjoyed using VoiceThread to create a Space presentation using photos I took from the Kennedy Space Center years ago. What a great way to create a presentation with your voice to teach concepts. Always looking for new ways to keep our students engaged in learning! :)
